AUDITION PRODUCTION: THE POLAR EXPRESS TRAIN RIDE
PERFORMANCE DATES : FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14TH - DECEMBER 23RD

The Polar Express Train ride is a live, interactive event based on the film by Warner Bros and performed at The Galveston Railroad Museum by Island ETC actors. Passengers are whisked away aboard The Polar Express as our actors bring the magical tale to life. Below is a list of available roles for 2025.

TRAIN SANTAS
Theses Santas perform 16 minutes per 60 minute show handing out bells and greeting each passenger. Santas are paid $20 per hour and are paid for the full amount of time they are required to be on property.
Costume & Appearance: POLAR EXPRESS Santas are provided with a Santa suit and boots. A real, well-maintained beard is preferred. Age 45+.
Skills: POLAR EXPRESS Santas are actors who must present themselves jolly, gentle and have a genuine love of children. Good improv skills are a must as well as the ability to remain cheerful under pressure.

NORTH POLE SANTA
This Santa does not ride the train, but greets all guests in the North Pole during the dance party after the train ride. This Santa performs 20 minutes per every 90 minutes outside. Santas are paid $20 per hour and are paid for the full amount of time they are required to be on property, not just performance times.
Costume & Appearance: POLAR EXPRESS Santas are provided with a Santa suit and boots. A real, well-maintained beard is preferred. Age 45+.

NORTH POLE ELF DANCERS
Dancers will greet patrons as they exit the train and perform in the North Pole multiple shows a day to hundreds of patrons per show. Each performance segment includes a variety of dance styles including high kick and the iconic “Rockin’ on Top the World”. All dancers must be in good physical shape and have the stamina to perform continuously for 15 minutes. Dancers must be of an advanced-intermediate to advanced skill level. Good high kicking skills are a must.
